www.Modellabs.com and Model Labs LLC were founded in 2008 in Aliso Viejo, CA.  The company was started and run by industry professionals in the aerospace engineering and residential architecture fields.  Model Labs LLC is dedicated to providing the right custom product at the right price the first time.

Paul Shaheen, partner, holds a Bachelor's of Science from Cal State Fullerton and a Master's Degree from  Cal State Long Beach, both in Mechanical Engineering.  Paul has experience in all areas of the product development lifecycle and really enjoys working with entrepreneurs and engineers on developing new products.  Paul Shaheen has 8 years experience as a Mechanical Analyst in the Aerospace Industry, and 6 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Engineering Manager in the area of factory automation machinery for the printing press industry.  Along with Model Labs, Paul Shaheen is CEO and Chief Product Developer of his own product line in the winter sports industry called Cryo Snowboards.

Jeff Mayland, partner, holds a Bachelor's of Architecture and has worked as a residential architect in Laguna Beach, CA since 2001.  Along with Model Labs, Jeff is owner of Modern Magic, a company which services the architectural industry with services including residential design, drafting,fly-through 3D views and graphic design.  Jeff was an early adopter of 3D CAD in the Architecture arena and is skilled at ArchiCAD.

Both Jeff and Paul are excited to collaborate as partners in Model Labs LLC and look forward to assisting clients to realize their products potential and lead the charge to a new prototyping and manufacturing paradigm of Additive Material Technologies.
